When you cannot answer,
Eve takes the enquiry.

Call answering is not included in the standard Trade PA app plan or 30-day free trial. Purchase and set up the add-on separately.

  1. Your app rings first.

    Answer the customer yourself in Trade PA. If you cannot answer, Eve takes over when the purchased call-answering service is set up and enabled.

  2. Eve takes the details.

    Eve collects the caller’s name, contact details, the work they need, their area and a preferred callback time. The call summary, transcript and enquiry details give you something to follow up.

  3. You decide what happens next.

    Review the enquiry and call the customer back. You agree the scope, confirm availability and set the price. Taking an enquiry does not mean an appointment has been booked.

The interactive example shows a fictional saved enquiry, not a live phone call. If Eve answering is not enabled or cannot connect, calls use the voicemail fallback. Ask us to confirm the number connection, availability, charges and allowances before purchasing.

HMRC has granted Trade PA production access for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax. Eligible sole traders can now review and send quarterly updates on the Trade PA website.

Eve helps you log expenses and mileage as you go. The Income Tax workflow brings eligible records into a separate quarterly review, where you check the figures and approve each submission yourself. Eve never files on your behalf.

For one sole-trader business using cash basis accounting, including VAT-registered traders. Open Accounts → MTD Income Tax on the website. Year-end filing remains separate; VAT and CIS returns are not included.

Is Eve for my kind of trade?

Trade PA is built for UK trade businesses, from sole traders to teams: plumbers, electricians, builders, landscapers and more. Eve helps with the business admin around the work.

Does Eve send things without me checking?

You can ask Eve to prepare drafts and check the details before sending. Suggested actions from connected messages are presented for your approval. You stay responsible for prices, recipients and the final content.

Do I need to connect everything first?

No. Start with your business details and try a customer, quote or job. Connect supported email, messaging or accounting accounts when you're ready to use those features.

What happens after the free trial?

The standard trial lasts 30 days and includes 50 AI messages shared across typed, voice and hands-free requests. No card is required to start. To carry on, choose a paid plan and add payment details. Plans start at £39/month. Optional add-ons cost extra.

Is call answering included?

No. Eve call answering is a purchasable add-on. It is not built into the standard app plan and is not included in the free trial. Once purchased, set up and enabled, Eve can take an unanswered caller’s enquiry and save the details for you to follow up. You confirm appointments and prices. Contact us to agree setup, availability and pricing for your business number.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes. Trade PA works on iPhone, Android and the web. Create your account here, then use the same login in the app.
